CHEYENNE — Literacy is the foundation for all future learning, shaping how Wyoming students explore ideas, build confidence, and achieve long-term success. To ensure our statewide education standards effectively support every learner, the Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) invites stakeholders across the state to participate in a public hearing on the proposed Chapter 57 Rules governing the K–12 Language and Literacy Program.
This public hearing provides an open platform for the community to share their comments directly with WDE officials and will take place on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM MDT.
Those interested in attending are encouraged to register in advance through the Zoom Registration Link. Upon registering, participants will receive a confirmation email containing full details on how to connect.
