Applications Open for the Wyoming Main Street Advisory Board
Cheyenne, Wyo. – Wyomingites who care about their downtowns and communities have an opportunity to help shape economic development across the state by serving on the Wyoming Main Street Advisory Board. Board members are appointed by the governor, and applications are now open.
The Wyoming Main Street Advisory Board is a seven-member volunteer board that works with Wyoming Business Council (WBC) staff to shape the services and direction of the Wyoming Main Street (WMS) program to support downtown revitalization and small-business vitality in communities across the state. Members serve three-year terms and meet at least three times a year, taking an active role in the work of the WMS program.
No prior board experience or Main Street background is required. Details on responsibilities and expectations can be found at wbc.pub/WMS_BoardRoles.
