Wyoming Main Street Advisory Board Meets in Casper Nov. 4 to Explore Expanding the Program’s Reach

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – The Wyoming Main Street Advisory Board will meet Wednesday, Nov. 4, in Casper from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to discuss strengthening the board and extending Main Street’s support to more Wyoming communities.

The meeting will be held in person at the Natrona Collective Health Trust’s Collective Space and is open to the public. Virtual attendance is also available via Zoom.

Wyoming Main Street (WMS) is the state’s leading resource for downtown revitalization, helping communities strengthen their historic districts, small businesses and sense of place. A central focus of this meeting is how to reach communities working to revitalize their downtowns beyond those with a formal Main Street designation.

Agenda highlights include:

  • Main Street “Spark” – Outlining a new recognition tier for communities pursuing downtown revitalization outside formal Main Street designation, including what qualifies a community, what benefits it could receive and how the tier would be structured.
  • Program Feedback – Reviewing input gathered from Main Street leaders across the state to guide the program’s strategic direction.
  • Board Development – Member assignments, clarifying board and staff roles, reviewing the work plan and a board-vacancy update.
  • Working Genius Workshop – A facilitated session with Ryan Gregory to strengthen how board members collaborate and contribute.

The full agenda and meeting materials are available on the Wyoming Business Council website at wbc.pub/MS_Board.
